Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a long-term, progressive respiratory condition characterized by airflow limitation, which makes breathing difficult over time.

Qualified participants may receive compensation for their participation in this study.

DID YOU KNOW

The primary causes of COPD are long-term exposure to irritating gases or particulate matter, most commonly from cigarette smoke. Other risk factors include exposure to occupational dust, chemicals, and indoor/outdoor air pollution.

COPD symptoms include chronic cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest tightness. The condition significantly impacts a person's quality of life, limiting their ability to perform daily activities.

How Participation Works

This study consists of up to 8 in office visits.
Blood sampling, ECG testing, and spirometry testing will be performed at multiple visits.
Participants that are found to be medically appropriate for the study will receive one of four possible study treatments for a period of 52 weeks.
